Kinetek Media is a modern digital agency in Downtown Spokane looking for a full-time multi-talented Photo/Video Content Creator to join our team of creatives to bring our client’s stories to life. You will partner with Kinetek managers to coordinate various projects and work with our select clients who specialize in food, events, and services.

Job Description:

We are searching for a Photo/Video content creator to help create compelling multimedia stories for our client’s brand’s social platforms. This role is a part of the newly established position, which coordinates with the Creative Director, Social Media team, and other managers with creative concepting, content production, and day-to day management for content on multiple brand’s social media channels.

This roll will storyboard, shoot, film, photograph, and edit much of the multimedia content that will be required to support an “always-on” strategy for owned media properties.

Content includes but not limited to, videos (long, short, episodic), photography, stories, tik-tok videos, reels, animations, GIFs and more. The Photo/Video Content Creator is an individual who knows their way around the camera and the editing room, and can think and execute with a social first mind-set.

Our perfect candidate lives and breathes internet culture and can quickly adapt the latest trends into client-focused content. We need someone who will develop this position into a functioning team. You will be a leader and grow into a director position. We need dedication and willingness to be on the team for 2-5+ years.


Be a strategic, collaborative partner – work with the team to develop content concepts based on the marketing objectives. Be the expert when it comes to video and Image content production. Bring new ideas and projects to life on a regular basis.
Video shooting and editing for social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.
Edit existing brand and product photos/videos to align with social media platform specs
Create always-on Facebook and Instagram Stories via editing tools like adobe after-effects
Film and edit Tik Tok videos and Instagram Reels
Ability to produce motion graphics for videos such as intros, lower thirds, transitions, outros, and icon animations.
Photography: Take all necessary images and retouch as needed
Ensure all content is created and edited in the proper specs for each social media channel and produced to brand quality stands
Collaborate with our Creative Director & internal departments on projects and assignments to align with content schedules to keep projects on target, on budget, and on time, ensuring quality deliverables that achieve stated business/marketing objectives.
Manage multiple tasks at the same time and support the extended team and internal clients with all content needs
Operate, maintain, and set-up all photography, video, audio, and lighting equipment
Research industry and competitor trends and suggest new content ideas


Excellent interpersonal skills with a “can-do” attitude, diplomatic approach, confidence, and comfort around coworkers and executive management is a must.
An outgoing, strong personality to match both the community and company culture is desired.

Thorough knowledge of Lightroom Classic
Thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro X
Experience with Adobe Photoshop CC
Canon camera systems (preferred)
Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Understands Google applications such as Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs etc.
Google Analytics
Apple/Mac ecosystem
Google Drive

Minimum Experience:

At least 5 years of marketing experience working for or with brands with an emphasis on digital/social media video/photo production/editing
Well-versed in social content creation, strategy, and tactics.
Understand content production process and approval cycles.
Full knowledge of content creation software such as Final Cut, Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.
Proficient using DLSR’s, video, audio, and lighting equipment
A bachelors degree or proven experience in marketing, arts, film, photography, communication, or equivalent is required

Social Media management and/or design background
WordPress knowledge
A history of managing a high volume of clients
